Complex to Real (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides one-on-one STEM tutoring in physics, mathematics, and programming, based in Orlando, Florida, and offered online. This policy explains what information we collect through complextoreal.net, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain because we collect very little.

Information you give us

When you book a session or contact us, you may provide:

• Your name and email address;
• The date and time you select for a session;
• Any details you choose to share about the subject, course, or material you want help with.

You provide this either through our booking page (which uses the third-party scheduling tool Cal.com) or by emailing us directly. You don’t need to create an account, and we don’t ask for payment information through this website.

Information collected automatically

Our website does not run its own analytics or advertising trackers. However, some pages load content from third parties to function, and those parties may receive standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) when your browser requests their content:

• Cal.com — powers the booking page and processes the scheduling details you submit.
• Google Fonts — serves the fonts used across the site.
• YouTube (Google) — embeds our educational video on the home page.

We use the information you provide only to:

We share it only with the service providers needed to operate the site and schedule sessions (for example, Cal.com for booking and our email provider for correspondence), and only as far as needed for them to perform that function. Data retention

We keep booking and contact information only as long as needed to provide tutoring and maintain ordinary business records, then delete it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.

Your choices and rights

You may request to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK GDPR; we’ll honor applicable requests.

Children’s privacy

Some of our students are minors. When tutoring is arranged for a student under 18, we expect a parent or guardian to make or approve the booking, and we direct session communications accordingly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information without consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we rely on reputable providers (such as Cal.com) to process booking data securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the limited information we hold.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices change. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
