At Complex to Real, we believe that understanding should come before memorization. Too often, students are taught formulas, procedures, and shortcuts without ever learning why they work. Our goal is to bridge that gap by turning complex and abstract concepts into something tangible, intuitive, and meaningful.
Founded by a Physics Ph.D. candidate with backgrounds in mathematics, physics, and computer science, Complex to Real specializes in helping students build deep, lasting understanding rather than temporary exam preparation. Whether you’re studying calculus, physics, programming, or advanced theoretical topics, we focus on connecting new ideas to concepts you already understand through clear explanations, custom examples, and real-world intuition.
We believe that with the right guidance, anyone can learn subjects they once thought were beyond them. Our mission is simple: transform complex topics into real understanding.

I’m a physics PhD candidate and graduate research assistant at the University of Central Florida (UCF) in Orlando, and the founder of Complex to Real. Recently I was also awarded the Department of Energy (DOE) SCGSR Fellowship and named UCF’s Physics Graduate Student of the Year for 2026. Before UCF I earned a B.S. in Applied Physics and a B.S. in Mathematics, minor in computer science, from Stockton University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Teaching has been constant for me: leading College Physics labs and discussions, designing graduate quantum-computing lectures for the University of Michigan, and heading a nine-student research team of undergraduates at UCF. Alongside that I’ve tutored one-on-one since 2020 across physics, mathematics, and programming, at a 4.8★ rating both online and in person.
My approach is adaptive and intuition-first — I tailor each session to your background and learning style, leaning on analogies and worked examples to build the picture of what a problem is really asking before we touch a formula. I work with students across the Orlando area in person and anyone online, from UCF undergrads in their first calculus or physics sequence to high-schoolers prepping for the SAT.
